Hmm, if you set up the port forward correctly you shouldn't have had this problem. Try setting the IP to 127.0.0.1 and reconnecting (you don't have to recreate the torrent, just rightclick and select "update tracker"). If that works, it means that your redirect is not done correctly. If it doesn't, it means that either you haven't enabled the tracker or the port is wrong (make sure the random port checkbox in the network preferences is UNCHECKED).
Try that and tell me :)
